The image that I selected originally contained a very broad definition of the word sustainability. It not only encompassed my original thoughts of sustainability being focused on the environment but it also took into account other forms of relationships. This led me to think back to interdependence and the idea that everything is connected. Meaning that if everything is interconnected than sustainability is key in maintaining these relationships. My image was of the globe and broad terms generally associated with sustainability, which I liked more than more specific images focused on the environment. This workshop really changed my ideas about sustainability allowing for me to better understand my surrounding and their importance of being interconnected.
