This weekend, I had the opportunity to visit the amazing Pedal Power Engineering shop in Whalonsburg, NY. I was up in the Champlain area for an event called Farmhack, which brings together designers, engineers, farmers, and tinkerers to solve equipment and mechanical problems on small-scale farms.
Pedal Power has recently turned its attention to agricultural applications of bicycles! Working with nearby Essex Farms, they’ve been exploring the possibility of using bikes as tools for growing sustainable food.
Andy, the founder of Pedal Power recommended this book to me, an out-of-publication Rodale Press book about pedal power.
So, here’s the link to Pedal Power. Enjoy!
