We are excited to announce our Spring 2024 semeste

We are excited to announce our Spring 2024 semester open hours! Come by to learn how to tune your bike, conduct minor repairs, get air, have your bike inspected, and make friends. We are always looking for volunteers and are willing to mentor and train students, faculty and staff for this role. You don’t need to be an experienced mechanic... it’s a cooperative model. Contact us to learn more!

Do you have a bike on campus? Don't leave it outside for the winter when FREE SECURE INDOOR STORAGE is an option! The Center for Sustainability Education is offering three dates for bike drop off on December 6, 7 & 12 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Bring your bike to Kaufman Hall 190 (CSE) and we'll store your bike indoors for you - for free! Then we'll offer a similar range of Spring pick up dates for you to get it. We'll also store it while you are abroad! Protect your bike from the harsh weather while assisting facilities with snow removal and bring your bike to us for the winter.

Today, the PSYC 475 Seminar Class explored #Carlisle's Northside neighborhood by bike on an amazing fall day. Visiting resources and touring the community with Josh Musica, the biking intern at the Center for Sustainability Education. This is liberal arts @dickinsoncollege 🚲

Located on D-Walk at Davidson-Wilson Hall, have a chance to explore the space, talk to volunteers, learn about how to get involved, find out what we offer, meet the campus biking community, and discover what The Handlebar does for students, faculty & staff at Dickinson. There will be snacks, fun activities, giveaways, and a bike will be raffled off to those who attend! More volunteers wanted! Come as you can. All are welcome!

Borrow Bikes: Daily or Loan Term

The Green Bikes program provides an opportunity to borrow a bike for an entire semester. These bikes are built with reused bike parts by students, faculty, and staff who volunteer at The Handlebar. The Red Bikes program allows for free daily loan from DPS.
