Hey Folks!

As the semester rolls in, the handlebar has a new slate of events! We’re really excited about the variety of events this semester, as we’re hoping to run a couple of new events as well as continue with the traditional ones.

This Semester:

The Handlebar will be open Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 4-6! All are welcome to hang out and learn about bike maintenance, or learn how to fix your own bike.

The Handlebar will be continuing our trips to Recycle Bicycle, a biking co-op in Harrisburg. Look out for emails about opportunities to take a trip to go put in some work with some of our biking friends!

Bike to Farm this year is scheduled for April 7th! Save the date for an opportunity to ride out to the farm and enjoy good food and good company.

Some new events we hope to run this semester are the North Side Ride and the Farm Tour Ride. The goal of the North Side Ride is to partner with the Carlisle community to make a fun ride that promotes connections between the Carlisle community and institutions within the community. The vision of the Farm Tour Ride is a bike tour of different farms within the surrounding area, with the aim of getting to know what types of food are made around us.
