Hello! I have so many things for you this week so stick with me here.
First and foremost, the Bicycle Times, an awesome publication, has some cool (and some less cool) custom bikes up on its website right now. If you’re not familiar with this magazine, swing on by the shop to page through an issue, it’s worth checking out.
Second, what a success our ride to Leo’s was! Despite the cold and wind, we had nine riders and Mike Johnson leading the way! Katie Farrar ’12 took this awesome picture:
Third, Shop Hours:
The Handlebar will be open today (that’s Monday) from 3-5:30 with myself and Eller manning the battle station.
The Handlebar will be open Wednesday from 3:30-5:00 with Tabea, Chloe, and Glen running the show.
The Handlebar will be open Thursday from 3:00-5:00 with myself (and maybe some others?) and I ran out of idiomatic phrases for saying we’ll be there.
So many volunteers, this is so exciting!
Also, we’ll be going to Recycle Bicycle Harrisburg on Thursday night–leaving at 5:00, getting burritos from Neato on 2nd St. in Harrisburg, and heading to the warehouse. I expect we’ll be back between 8:30 and 9! Let me know if you’d like to join!
Just a reminder that winter bike storage check-out is currently in session. If your bike was stored by CSE in the Fall and you’d like to start riding it, swing by during the times outlined in the email you received. If this applies to you, you’ll know but for everyone else, having more bikes out on the roads is just another exciting harbinger of a cycling spring to come!
