Fall 2010 Heavy Rotation Winners
Our DJs also voted for their favorite fall semester Heavy Rotation artist. The winner is….
But only by a close fraction! Age of Adz also held the record for longest time spent at #1 on the WDCV Charts, at… two consecutive weeks! It was a semester with a lot of turnaround on the charts, which just means that there were plenty of artists who deserved #1.
Other honorable mentions:
- Fitz and the Tantrums – Pickin’ Up the Pieces
- Belle and Sebastian – Write About Love
- The Minnesota Beatles Project, Vol. 2
- Avey Tare – Down There
- Cee-lo Green and Band of Horses Split
- Moondoggies – Tidelands
- Jimmy Wilkinson – These Days (voted in by… Jimmy Wilkinson)
These artists all come with the WDCV Seal of Approval, so go check ’em out!
Lastly…
twisted sister – heavy metal christmas
Happy Holidays!
