Need your bike stored for the winter? Studying abroad and want your bike stored? Bring your bike to the CSE department (located in Kaufman Hall) for FREE indoor storage!!!
CSE will be accepting bikes during the following times: December 11th, 12th, and 16th between 9am-3pm.

Like a little rollercoaster for your bike, pumptracks are closed curcuits where you can ride your bike without needing to pedal. Learn to ride the Carlisle Pumptrack this Friday at 1:30! No bike needed, red bikes are available.

Join us for an open house for Dickinson students, faculty, staff, and community members interested in learning more about The Handlebar and Biking@Dickinson programs. Learn about what resources are available and how you can get involved while enjoying free snacks courtesy of the Center for Sustainability Education (CSE). We are in need of new volunteers for The Handlebar for Fall 2024. Bike mechanic skills are helpful, but not required. We will train the right committed people. We need leaders and advocates for this essential campus resource.

This OPEN HOUSE is a come and go event with free snacks, prizes and activities. Help us spread the word by inviting others and bringing friends. Come check it out! Pump your tires and see the space. Meet Josh Musica, the biking intern, and find out how you can start volunteering now!

We are excited to announce our Spring 2024 semester open hours! Come by to learn how to tune your bike, conduct minor repairs, get air, have your bike inspected, and make friends. We are always looking for volunteers and are willing to mentor and train students, faculty and staff for this role. You don’t need to be an experienced mechanic... it’s a cooperative model. Contact us to learn more!

Do you have a bike on campus? Don't leave it outside for the winter when FREE SECURE INDOOR STORAGE is an option! The Center for Sustainability Education is offering three dates for bike drop off on December 6, 7 & 12 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Bring your bike to Kaufman Hall 190 (CSE) and we'll store your bike indoors for you - for free! Then we'll offer a similar range of Spring pick up dates for you to get it. We'll also store it while you are abroad! Protect your bike from the harsh weather while assisting facilities with snow removal and bring your bike to us for the winter.

There will be snacks, fun activities, giveaways, and a bike will be raffled off to those who attend! More volunteers wanted! Come as you can. All are welcome!

Borrow Bikes: Daily or Loan Term

The Green Bikes program provides an opportunity to borrow a bike for an entire semester. These bikes are built with reused bike parts by students, faculty, and staff who volunteer at The Handlebar. The Red Bikes program allows for free daily loan from DPS.
