Sustainability

I define sustainability as securing the future by preserving the present. This definition focuses on making sure that we as a people are doing everything possible right now like eating sustainable and recycling so that the planet will be better off in the future. My definition has changed to include the aspect of securing the future. Before sustainability meant to me, doing everything I can at the moment to be sustainable for my own sake, however, sustainability is more than any individual and affects all people.
