LIVE CREATIVELY AT DICKINSON

Dickinson students study for final exams in The Trout Gallery.

A STUDENT-FOCUSED MUSEUM: We are YOUR campus art museum.  Students can take advantage of cultural life at Dickinson by joining a public tour, attending our spring student Gala, reserving a custom-art-evening for your club or group, studying in The Gallery during finals, attending our openings, and other special events!

GET INVOLVED: The Trout Gallery also offers opportunities for students from all disciplines to become involved with museum life.  Students may choose from a variety of opportunities based on their personal interests, career goals, and available time commitment during a given semester. We include both paid (Student Assistant) and unpaid (Trout Ambassador) opportunities for students.  An overview of these opportunities can be found HERE.  You can see our current Student Assistants and positions by clicking HERE.

CURATE: Studio Art and Art History seniors curate an exhibition each year at The Trout Gallery and other students may apply to curate an exhibition at The Trout Gallery. These exhibition projects are accompanied by exhibitions catalogues, giving students the opportunity to write and publish in both hardcopy and digital editions.  Examples of student curatorial projects can be found HERE.
