1886: National WCTU Annual Leaflet

This pamphlet produced by the National WCTU describes the objectives of the organization in 1886. While they do note the existence of African American chapters in the south, the work is nonetheless more concerned with targeting specific occupational groups like railroad workers or soldiers. This source provides a useful account of the WCTU’s nationwide mission in the wake of success in Atlanta.
