1894-1897: Woman’s Era

Published between 1894 and 1897, The Woman’s Era was the first nationally published newspaper for African American women. Volumes 1-3 will be particularly useful for placing the activism of women in Atlanta in a broader context; all contain specific mentions of Atlanta clubs.
