DEI Reflection- Maddy Zegeer

Given circumstances outside of my control, and I had to migrate to another country I would either go to Canada. I would probably just migrate 4 hours away to Toronto. Given my identity as a white, American, and English-speaking female I likely would face some prejudice carrying an  American passport, but I likely would not struggle too much with any language barrier. I could possibly struggle with receiving a job but would not have health care.  As a female in STEM, I would likely be pushed into the job of a teacher or tutor. Given Canada is similar to the US, I believe my target/agent dynamic there would be similar to how it is in the United States.
