Devlynn Chen

My name is Devlynn Chen and I am a biology major with an interest in languages, business and sustainability. I just finished a Dickinson summer abroad program in Malaga, Spain and also traveled a little through southern China. I discovered the Media Center when I was a first year taking Spanish 104 and had a Skype session in one of our computer rooms. I was impressed with all the cool gadgets and gizmos that we provide and wanted to learn how to use the equipment. If you want to learn more about the Media Center, my trip, or being a biology major, feel free to come down to the basement of Bosler and pick my brain. I’d be happy to talk about my experiences!

Hasta luego!

Bedrudin Becirovic

Hi everyone,

My name is Bedrudin Becirovic and I am a Biology major here at Dickinson and a part of the Pre-Health Society.  Originally I am from Bosnia and Herzegovina currently residing in Carlisle, PA and have moved to the United States back in 2001.  My interests lie in science and in the technology that makes science so wonderful.   I have joined the Media Center in the hopes of learning about various technologies and hope to share them with others.

I look forward to working with everyone!

Caroline Gabriele

Hi guys!

I’m Caroline from Madison, CT and I’m a psychology major here at Dickinson. I’m on the golf team and in an acapella group on campus. I’m really pumped to be working in the Media Center and to expand my knowledge of multi-media programs and equipment! Stop by and visit me I love to chat and I’m so excited to meet and work with you all!

Kerin Maguire

Hi everyone!

My name is Kerin Maguire and I am an English major here at Dickinson. I love to write/play/create music and am well versed in programs like GarageBand, iMovie, Audacity, and WordPress. I hope to learn all there is to know over the next few years to help as many people as I can! I decided to join the Media Center team so I can improve my understanding of programs I do not typically use, and help others do the same. I look forward to working with you!

Jiahao Han(Jacky)

Hey all,

My name is Jiahao Han, but I prefer if you call me Jacky. You might guess that my name has something to do with Jacky Chan, but actually no, my English teacher randomly picked this name for me.

I’m an international student from Xi’an, China, the old capital of China for 13 dynasty, including Qin Dynasty. The famous Terra Cotta Warriors were located within one hour driving distance from my home, and yes, I have the autograph of the farmer who found the first warrior.

I still remember I got my first laptop when I was 12, and unfortunately it was stolen 3 months later. (A thief actually went into my house and stole it!) But my love for technology-related stuff never went away. I love photography, video-editing, music, and of course playing video games. (In case you’re interested, my LOL name is BananaHak)

As you can see from the category, I will become a student assistant in the media center next year. I am really excited about the job, and really looking forward to working with you! I will be sitting in the office and waiting for you like this: photo 1

Nah! Just kidding, I will look like this:

Anyway, please stop by the media center and find me. We have really cool stuff to show you!

Sai Grandhi

Hey everyone! I am Sai Grandhi, a freshman studying Computer Science and Mathematics. As you might have guessed, I am a Student Assistant here in the Media Center. I was born and raised in a small town in India called Rajahmundry. Along with my family, we moved to Lusaka, Zambia in Africa when I was 12. Thanks to my father’s job, we moved to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania when I was 16 years old. So I come to Dickinson with all these experiences and hope to share them with you all. I love watching movies, following cricket highlights and reading novels (dystopian genre).
