So, your Dickinson College department, club or student group is interested in holding an event at the College Farm! We’re excited to help you bring your vision to fruition. If you already know exactly how you want your event at the farm to play out, great: if not, the farm staff can help you brainstorm. We will also assist you with the coordination of your event in keeping with Dickinson College’s policies and Campus Life procedures.
Please note that Dickinson College Farm is not an eligible venue for private parties, private graduation parties, weddings or other similar events. If you are interested in holding a wedding or private party in a building on Dickinson College’s campus in Carlisle, please contact the Conferences and Special Events office at Events Policies and Procedures carefully. This document details your responsibilities when planning an event to be held at the farm. It is intended to provide interested individuals or groups with helpful information and guidelines pertaining to farm-based events.
Then, contact us at 717-245-1969 or farm at dickinson.edu with your requested date/time and a brief summary of your proposed event. Please allow up to one week for calendar coordination.
Once the farm confirms that your proposed date/time is available, you will be asked to fill out and submit an Event Request Form.
We kindly request at least two week’s advanced notice for events. We take reservations months ahead of time: if you’re planning an event for 2015 and are considering the farm as your venue, get in touch with us at farm at dickinson.edu today!
We will contact you to confirm available times and to offer our assistance with the coordination of logistics. From May-November (especially September and October), our events calendar fills up very quickly. Events are accepted on a case-by-case basis.
