Dickinson Website

Vine-ripened tomatoes, fresh garlic, sun-kissed peaches, artisan cheeses and homemade preserves—a mouthwatering medley in the middle of downtown Carlisle. Thanks to an abundance of area farms and Carlisle’s commitment to buying and selling local, community members and Dickinsonians have all this and more at their fingertips every Wednesday at Farmers on the Square (FOTS).
Open from 3 to 7 p.m. in front of the First Presbyterian Church near the intersection of Hanover and High streets, the seasonal market is teeming with shoppers looking for the best local products and vendors who live and work within 50 miles of Carlisle. This particular Wednesday was the first FOTS of the new academic year, so students took advantage of the opportunity to take a walk downtown with friends and stock up on healthy snacks and sweet treats.
