Summer Music Series
Join us for a Friday evening on the farm featuring live music and our famous wood-fired farm pizza! Ticket includes a personal pizza and additional farm-fresh sides. Water and sun tea available to all. BYOB! Food & entertainment will be picnic-style, please bring your own chairs, cups, and utensils.
Ingredients used to prepare our farm-to-table meals reflect the College Farm’s commitment to sustainability. Our produce is certified organic, and our meat production is certified 100% grass-fed. The systems by which our ingredients are grown on the farm underscore a desire to demonstrate regenerative and innovative systems that aim to preserve natural resources and add to the aesthetic of the land.
Each month, visitors will not only get to experience music and great food outdoors, but also new scenery on the College Farm. To achieve this, all events will be powered through supplemental forms of energy that are not reliant on the grid. The off-grid element of the summer music series offers a new take on agritourism by integrating passive educational opportunities meant to advance our collective understanding of alternative sources and uses of energy.
Furthermore, all of our events will be zero-waste! As an educational production operation, the Dickinson College Farm’s longtime composting initiative and new biogas project provide the necessary infrastructure to ensure that all compostable materials are diverted from the landfill. Please consider carpooling to further reduce our impact!
Enjoy our first-of-its-kind sustainable summer music series and connect to the land and community with good food and good music! Funded in part through a Tourism Grant Award from the Cumberland Area Economic Development Corporation!
