Rue, also known as tenadame in Ethiopia is used in a variety of recipes from cheese to coffee. This recipe features a classic Ethiopian style latte that is simple to prepare and delicious.
- 2 ounces of brewed coffee (preferable 2 espresso shots)
- 4 ounces of milk
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2-4 rue stems
- Brew the coffee or espresso of your choice.
- While the coffee is brewing, heat the milk of your choice with the rue in a saucepan until warm.
- Pour milk into a cup and add the coffee.
- Add sugar and enjoy!
