College Farm to Host Cooking Workshop

A CookingForReal, workshop will be held on Saturday, May 31, at 9 a.m., at the Dickinson College Farm at 553 Park Dr., Boiling Springs. The Fee is $35 a person or $50 for a team of two.

CookingForReal is an interactive workshop on how to use cooking to teach whole food nutrition and build awareness of the local food system. Participants will learn the basics of setting up local, sustainable cooking and nutrition education programs. This 3.5-hour workshop will feature practical and reproducible instruction regarding setting up seminars and demonstrations for various audiences and venues, whole food nutrition basics and more. Attendees will receive a packet including recipes, handouts, resource list and workshop outline.

Members of Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture are eligible for a $10 discount per registration.
