Деревня Кромнов.

Деревня очень приличная. Завтра или послезавтра мы переходим в деревню Слядов и садимся в окопы, чтобы дать отдых пехоте. Будем сидеть 6 дней. Окопы, говорят, хорошие, и 199 пехотный полк, которого мы сменяем, неохотно их покидает. Теперь мы входим в состав 1-ой Армии и 5-ого Сибирского стрелкового корпуса.

The Village of Kromnov

This village is quite nice. Tomorrow or the day after we’ll be heading to the village of Sladov, and we’ll set up in the trenches to give the infantrymen a break. We’ll stay there for 6 days. They say the trenches are good, and the 199th infantry regiment, which we’re relieving, is reluctant to leave them. Now we’re going to be a part of the 1st Army and 5th Siberian Rifle Corps.
