Дни идут довольно скучно, работы мало. Вчера ездил в гости к офицерам 6-ой отдельной сотни ополченцев. Офицеры стоят в отличном барском доме. Стреляли по немецкому аэроплану, но не попали. В последние дни немцы стали бомбить город. Сегодня 2-х мирных жителей убили и 22-х ранили. Ксендз хохотал, когда я ему рассказывал, что во время атаки Камиона был взят в плен немец, оказавшийся рязанским мужиком. Он бежал из плена, одевшись в немецкую форму. Сегодня в городе поймали и, согласно приказу, повесили одного мирного жителя, который рвал телефонные провода.

The days are quite boring and there is little to do. Yesterday I went to see the officers of the 6th hundreds militiamen. These officers are housed in an excellent manor home.
