Вчера и сегодня отличная погода. Сегодня был смотр стрелковому дивизиону при 5-ой кавалерийской дивизии полковника Хондзынского. Смотрел командир корпуса Павлов. Я поехал из любопытства. Ничего, молодцами показались. Сегодня, впервые за всю войну казначей выдал жалование нам вовремя.

Наша 1-ая бригада в окопах. Драгуны и уланы плавали к немцам через Двину. Взяли одного пленного и пулемет, который утопили при обратной переправе домой. Еще сообщают, что наши потери 4 убитых и 15 раненных. Партизанский отряд при нашей дивизии расформирован. Это правильно, никчемный он был.

Yesterday and today the weather was excellent. Today there was an inspection of the rifle division from Colonel Khondzynsky’s 5th Cavalry Division. Corps Commander Pavlov did the inspection.
