Today Lieutenant Ivanenko arrived from Petrograd, where he was on leave, and brought a French newspaper. In Paris they have calculated that our front against the Austro-Germans stretches 1,370 kilometers. Among our allies, the French have 870 km, the English—50 km, the Belgians—28km, i.e., a total of 948 kilometers. The Serbs and Montenegrins have 350 km, i.e., a total of 1298 km, but we must fight along 1,370 km.
