В 8 часов утра был на станции Рамоцкое. Около 1 часа дня погрузились и лишь в 5 часов тронулись. В эшелоне 337 гусар и 161 лошадь, то есть 2 с лишним эскадрона людей и эскадрон лошадей. Дали мне еще улан. Много возни было с поверкой вещей, так как вахмистра каждого эскадрона хотели надуть.

I was at the Ramotskoe station by 8 o’clock this morning. We loaded up at around 1 o’clock and only set off at 5 o’clock.
