On Saturday, 4th of July, we attended the celebrations in honor of the 250th anniversary of the United State, hosted by the Carl Schurz German American Club. The festivities took place in the newly opened Grünewalds Grill-Institut.

With delicious burger creations by owner Kai Grünewald and his team, a keynote address by Mr. Eduard Dubbers-Albrecht, former president of the Chamber of Commerce and chairman of the Northwest Metropolitan Region, as well as a trumpet solo of the America National Anthem by Aaron Dering, we celebrated the 250th anniversary of the American independence in fitting style.
